Refund Policy for Digital Books

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Summary

AILIB sells downloadable digital books, including PDF, EPUB, and HTML editions. Because digital files can be accessed and kept immediately, refund requests are reviewed within 7 days of purchase rather than handled as physical returns.

Refunds We Generally Approve

  • You bought the same book twice by mistake.
  • You purchased the wrong book and have not accessed or downloaded the files.
  • You cannot access the files because of a technical issue we cannot fix.
  • The delivered file is corrupted, missing, or the wrong file.
  • The book is materially not as described on the sales page.

Refunds We Generally Do Not Approve

  • The files were successfully accessed or downloaded and you changed your mind.
  • You finished reading the book and no longer need it.
  • You expected a result the book does not promise.
  • Your device or app cannot open a standard PDF, EPUB, or HTML file, but the file itself works.
  • You found a later discount or bundle price.
  • The request appears abusive or repetitive.

Digital Access and Cancellation Rights

Where a local law gives a cooling-off or withdrawal period for digital content, you may have cancellation rights before digital delivery begins. If you choose instant access and begin downloading or accessing the digital book, you acknowledge that digital delivery has started. In many jurisdictions, this may end the ordinary right to cancel for a change-of-mind refund while preserving rights for faulty, inaccessible, or misdescribed content.

How to Request a Refund

Email support with your order email, book title, purchase date, and reason for the request. Please request ordinary refunds within 7 days of purchase. Defective-file or wrong-file issues should be reported as soon as discovered.

Policy Basis

This policy follows common digital-book marketplace patterns: short refund windows for accidental ebook purchases, eligibility review for digital content, and continuing protection for faulty, inaccessible, or materially misdescribed downloads.

This is an operational policy, not legal advice. Local consumer rights may vary.
